MENTORING

The Reconnect project aims to provide a platform for kids to receive guidance, support, and mentorship, promoting their personal development and helping them achieve their full potential

Program Components:

Emotional Support: Our Mentors offer a safe and supportive environment for children to express themselves, share their thoughts and feelings, and receive emotional guidance. This can help them develop resilience, coping skills, and self-confidence.

Academic Assistance: Our mentors can assist young with their academic needs, such as study skills, and educational goals. They can provide guidance on organizational skills, and time management, and help improve academic performance.

Role Modeling: the reconnect Mentors serve as positive role models for children, demonstrating values, behaviors, and attitudes that promote personal growth, responsibility, and character development. They can inspire children to set and achieve goals and make positive choices

Expanded Networks: The Mentoring program provides opportunities for children to expand their social networks, introducing them to new experiences, perspectives, and opportunities. Mentors can help connect children to community resources and networks that can enhance their personal and academic growth.

Long-term Impact: Mentoring relationships can have a lasting impact on children's lives. Studies have shown that children who participate in mentoring programs are more likely to graduate from high school, pursue higher education, and have improved social and emotional well-being.
